The Further Chronicles of Now is a show of the ground breaking cartoon work that Anthony Haden-Guest has been making over the last several years. His targets are as various as the art world, our social disorders (new & old) and the state/fate of the planet, so the work is content-driven but such formal elements as color and design are very much part of that content.

Haden-Guest mostly works in pen and ink on paper, but he likes to extend the possibilities of cartoon language through works in neon, collaborating with animators and with other media, as you will see.

On exhibit "The Further Chronicles of Now" will exhibit art, sketches, drawings, and performance of art world icon Haden-Guest hilariously contemplative vignettes on society and art.  

Unforgettable dark lines on white background with splashes of neon color these accessible art pieces are simple and entertaining.  Reading between the lines viewers may discover the decades of newsprint pressing the writer, journalist, and cartoonist into unique art pieces in iconic memory of art world experience.
